These Terms of Service govern your use of nursprings.org, operated by Nur Springs Initiative ("NSI", "we", "us"). By using this site, donating, subscribing, or creating a blog account, you agree to these terms.

This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It's a good-faith, plain-language description of how we expect the site to be used — please contact us with questions rather than relying on it for legal advice.

Using this website

You may browse, read, and share our content. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, including the admin panel or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the site
• Submit spam, malicious code, or content through our contact form, blog, or comments
• Impersonate another person or organisation

Blog accounts and contributions

Registering an author account requires accurate information (name, working email). You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything published under your account.

Review before publishing. Every article and comment you submit is held for review and only appears publicly once approved by NSI. We may reject or remove content that is inaccurate, offensive, off-topic, or otherwise inappropriate, at our discretion.

Your content, our licence. You retain ownership of what you write. By submitting an article or comment, you grant NSI a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to publish, display, and distribute it on this website and our official channels, for as long as it remains published.

Removal. We may suspend accounts or remove content that violates these terms, without prior notice, particularly where it affects the safety or reputation of NSI or the communities we serve.

Donations

Donations are processed securely through Stripe or Flutterwave once our giving flow is live; NSI never receives or stores your card details. Donations are voluntary gifts, not purchases of goods or services, and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at NSI's discretion. Named dedications (e.g. naming a borehole) are subject to our internal naming and recognition policy and are not guaranteed until confirmed by NSI in writing.

Intellectual property

Except for content you submit under a licence to us, all text, graphics, and branding on this site belong to Nur Springs Initiative or our licensors. You may share and quote our public content with attribution; you may not reproduce it for commercial purposes without permission.

Third-party services

This site uses third-party services (payment processors, email delivery, analytics, mapping). We aren't responsible for the availability or practices of services outside our control, though we choose reputable providers.

No warranty

This website and its content are provided "as is." We work to keep information accurate and current — in particular, we do not publish fabricated statistics or invented data — but we don't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, NSI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and our programs evolve. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
